The police received information that a mob had gathered outside the woman’s residence, according to the first information report (FIR) filed at the Nishatabad police station in Faisalabad.

When police arrived, they discovered that the accused was living in the house and claimed that her sister, who lives in a posh Lahore neighbourhood, claimed to be a “prophet” and had “revelations.”

She also claimed that her sister said 50 prayers every day, similar to those said on the Night of the Ascension, and that she had received “revelations.”

The woman’s husband was also arrested for supporting his wife and sister-in-law.

Locals, particularly religious party workers, demanded the woman’s arrest, and a mob gathered outside her Faisalabad home.

While addressing the charged mob, Faisalabad City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi stated that the “goal of his life” was to believe in the finality of Prophethood and to protect that belief. He assured the mob that the “cursed” woman and others involved would face justice in accordance with the law.

The woman who claims to be the ‘prophet’ is said to be a Lahore resident who has not been informed of any action taken against her.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
