Winter Break Schedule Announced By Quaid-i-Azam University

Quaid-i-Azam University has released details regarding the upcoming winter break in an official announcement. According to the notification, the university is scheduled to be closed from December 26 until January 1, 2024, marking the period designated for winter vacations.

The university’s administrative notification explicitly states that regular operations will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. This timeframe allows students and faculty members to plan accordingly for the temporary closure during the winter holiday season.

In a related context, the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) had previously declared winter vacations for all Private Educational Institutions (PEIs) in Islamabad. The specified period for these institutions’ winter break is from December 25 to December 29, aligning with the broader academic calendar.

Additionally, the caretaker government of Balochistan had issued an official notification regarding winter vacations for educational institutions situated in the province’s winter zones. As per this notification, schools, colleges, and universities are to remain closed for an extended duration of 76 days, spanning from December 16, 2023, to February 29, 2023. This strategic scheduling ensures a more comprehensive winter break for educational institutions in Balochistan, allowing ample time for both students and staff to enjoy a respite during the colder months.

These coordinated announcements by educational authorities reflect a systematic approach to providing students, faculty, and staff with well-deserved breaks while also aligning with regional variations in climate and scheduling considerations.
