The White House announced that Israel will initiate four-hour pauses in northern Gaza to allow people to evacuate the conflict zone. These pauses were the result of discussions between U.S. and Israeli officials, and they aim to provide a safe window for people to move to safer locations, deliver humanitarian aid, and potentially facilitate hostage releases.

According to the information, Israel will not conduct military operations in these areas during the pauses. However, President Biden stated that there is currently “no possibility” of a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
