WhatsApp Launches Another Big Feature To Enhance User Experience

The Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is poised to elevate its video calling experience by introducing a novel feature that empowers users to share music audio while engaged in a video call.

This exciting development was brought to light by the WhatsApp news tracker WaBetaInfo.

WaBetaInfo reports that the feature is currently in the developmental stage but has been submitted for testing through the TestFlight beta program.

In the most recent version, 23.25.10.72, this feature is integrated, although it is not yet accessible to beta testers.

Once officially released, this feature will enable users to share audio from videos and music seamlessly during a screen-sharing session, creating a synchronized audiovisual experience for everyone on the call.

Users will have the option to activate this feature and share audio with participants during the call. It’s worth noting that this feature is not compatible with voice calls or video calls where video is disabled.

WaBetaInfo underscores the advantages of this feature, asserting that “The ability to share video and music audio in real-time during a screen-sharing session adds a dynamic layer to video calls, making virtual gatherings definitely more interactive.”

Undoubtedly, this new feature will enhance the overall video calling experience on WhatsApp, fostering a sense of connection and shared enjoyment among friends and family during virtual gatherings. The feature is anticipated to be available in an upcoming app update.
