What Will Eidul Azha Weather Conditions likely Remain?

Pakistan Meteorological Department has released its weather outlook for the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha holidays, forecasting rain in parts of Upper Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the next couple of days due to an active weather system affecting several regions of the country.

Speaking to the media, weather expert Irfan Virk stated that Lahore is expected to enjoy pleasant weather conditions for the next two days. However, he noted that temperatures are likely to rise again once the current spell of rain comes to an end. He also mentioned that upper and northeastern districts of Punjab may receive rainfall during the next 24 to 48 hours.

Discussing the situation in Karachi, Virk explained that the city is currently not facing the extreme heat experienced during the beginning of May. Despite this relief, temperatures are expected to remain relatively high, while overall weather conditions in the city are likely to stay stable over the next two days.

Regarding Eid-ul-Adha weather conditions, officials from the Pakistan Meteorological Department said that temperatures are expected to gradually increase after the present rain spell weakens. Another weather system carrying rain is likely to develop before Eid, although authorities said it is too early to issue a final forecast about its intensity or affected areas.

According to current predictions, the intensity of heat may increase during the Eid holidays after rainfall activity subsides. Meteorologists warned that hot weather conditions could return to several parts of the country, particularly in plains and urban regions.

The weather department is continuing to monitor changing atmospheric conditions and advised citizens to stay updated with official forecasts, especially those planning travel or outdoor activities during Eid celebrations. Authorities also urged the public to take precautionary measures during periods of rising temperatures and possible heatwave conditions expected after the rain system passes.
