Pakistani government is likely to reduce petrol prices in the first half of November due to the strengthening of the rupee against the dollar as part of stringent measures.
The costs of petroleum products, including petrol and diesel, are expected to decrease as the government considers providing further relief to the struggling Pakistani population facing a severe economic crisis.

Unconfirmed reports in the media suggest that the price of petrol may drop by approximately Rs20 per liter, while diesel could see a reduction of around Rs16 per liter.
The interim government officials have not reached a decision yet, and Prime Minister Anwaar Kakar will make the final determination during a meeting scheduled for October 31.
If implemented, this price adjustment would mark the second reduction within a month. Earlier in the month, the caretaker government lowered petrol prices by Rs40 per liter and high-speed diesel by Rs15 per liter for the second half of October.
Currently, petrol is priced at Rs283.38 per liter, while high-speed diesel costs Rs303.18 per liter.
