West Indies completed a dominant 120-run win over Pakistan in the second Test of the series, leveling the two-match series 1-1. Pakistan, chasing a target of 254, faced a challenging task against the West Indies’ spinners, who delivered a remarkable performance to secure the win.
Resuming at 76/4, Pakistan’s hopes of stabilizing their innings quickly faded as they struggled against the relentless spin attack. Kevin Sinclair struck early, dismissing Saud Shakeel for 13 and reducing Pakistan to 76/5. The situation worsened when Kashif Ali was dismissed for just one run, leaving the hosts at 76/6.

A brief partnership between Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Agha offered some hope, but their stand was broken when Warrican dismissed Salman for 15, followed by Rizwan’s dismissal for 25. Pakistan was soon 122/8, and despite Noman Ali’s brief resistance, he was dismissed for six. Sajid Khan, the last man, was bowled out for a duck by Warrican, sealing a historic victory for the West Indies.
Jomel Warrican was the standout bowler with 5/27, supported by Sinclair’s 3/61 and Motie’s 2/35. Their spin bowling proved too much for Pakistan to handle. This win marks West Indies’ first Test victory in Pakistan since 1990, following a strong performance on Day 2 when Pakistan was reduced to 76/4 in their first innings.
