Water Pipe Burst Causes Flooding at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport

A water pipe burst at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport on Tuesday, leading to flooding in the international departure lounge. The water quickly pooled in front of the immigration counters, creating significant inconvenience for both passengers and staff.

The airport authority responded swiftly to the incident. A spokesperson confirmed that the broken pipe was identified, and the affected area was isolated by shutting off the isolation valve in the western section of the terminal. Airport staff worked quickly with buckets and wipers to remove the water and prevent it from spreading further.
