[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman delivered a notification to the province’s caretaker cabinet, which included the names of journalist Tamkunat Karim and fast bowler Wahab Riaz.
While a few members of the caretaker cabinet took their oaths yesterday, left-handed fast bowler Wahab Riaz, who is currently playing in the Bangladesh Premier League and residing abroad, has not yet done so.
According to a private TV channel, Bowler told Wahab Riaz that he will take an oath as the province sports minister when he returns home, however it is unclear from the announcement for which ministry he has been chosen.
Wahab Riaz will play for Peshawar Zalmi in the next Pakistan Super League (PSL), which will begin on February 13. Wahab Riaz will play in the PSL for the first time ever as a sports minister.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
