The Virtual University of Pakistan has officially announced the opening of admissions for the Spring 2026 semester, inviting students from Pakistan and around the world to apply. The announcement reflects the university’s continued focus on expanding access to higher education through digital platforms and modern learning technologies.
According to the university, the admission process began on January 5, 2026, and will remain open until February 20, 2026. Applicants have been advised to complete and submit their online admission forms within the given timeline to avoid any inconvenience or delays in processing.
In a press release, the Virtual University highlighted that thousands of overseas Pakistanis are already enrolled in its academic programs. These students are pursuing higher education through the university’s online learning system, which allows them to study from anywhere while maintaining flexibility alongside professional or personal commitments.
The university is offering admissions in a wide range of academic programs for the Spring 2026 semester. These include undergraduate degree programs, Associate Degree Programs, diplomas, and certificate courses. Multiple BS programs, ADPs, and professional diploma and certificate options are available across various disciplines.
Rector Virtual University Prof Dr Nasir Mehmood said the institution aims to deliver quality higher education at an affordable cost by leveraging modern technology. He added that the university operates campuses in nearly 140 cities across Pakistan, from Skardu to Gwadar, to provide academic and administrative support.
The admission process has been made fully online, allowing students to complete all requirements from home. Applicants who require assistance can visit their nearest Virtual University campus, where trained staff members are available to provide free guidance and support.
