Villages Evacuated As India Escalates Border Tensions

Amid escalating tensions following the Pahalgam attack, India has intensified its military posture, blaming Pakistan without providing concrete evidence, security sources revealed on Wednesday.

The Indian Border Security Force has reportedly begun evacuating villages along the Pakistan-India border, including sensitive sectors like Samba, Kathua, and Akhnoor. Loudspeaker announcements from a gurdwara in the Attari sector have urged villagers to harvest crops swiftly and prepare for evacuation.

In a bid to control public perception, Indian authorities have also blocked access to hundreds of Pakistani TV channels, limiting alternative viewpoints on the unfolding crisis.

Defense analysts warn that India’s aggressive stance appears driven more by domestic political motives than security needs, cautioning that such rhetoric risks deepening regional instability.
