Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal has revealed his excitement about becoming a father, calling it a “huge blessing” during the Yuvaa Conclave on October 15. He described fatherhood as his biggest wish and expressed joy over the new chapter in his life.
Kaushal spoke about the pregnancy of his wife, Katrina Kaif, saying he is eagerly awaiting the arrival of their child. “I am really looking forward to it… Exciting times, almost there, so fingers crossed,” he said. He also joked that he might “not be stepping out of the house” in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal is preparing for the release of his upcoming period drama, ‘Chhaava’. Earlier this year, he defended a Lezim dance sequence in the film, which sparked controversy online. Kaushal explained that the short sequence, lasting 20–30 seconds, was meant to showcase Maharashtra’s culture to the world.
He further added, “Not a single day went by when we didn’t start work on the film without the Shivgarjana [slogans about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj].” Kaushal emphasized that the Lezim segment was a gesture of respect toward Sambhaji Maharaj and the local traditions, rather than just a part of the story.
