Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja has once again spoken out against the violence in Gaza, sharing a powerful social media post highlighting the suffering of Palestinian children.

In his post, Khawaja shared a video showing injured children and condemned the ongoing atrocities, echoing UNICEF’s description of Gaza as “a graveyard for children.”

“Hard to watch… Imagine living it,” he wrote, expressing outrage over continued killings, starvation, and attacks on aid efforts. He urged the public to remain vocal and committed to humanitarian values.

“If this ever becomes normal for us, we are truly lost,” Khawaja said, encouraging people to always stand for humanity and justice.

Khawaja previously condemned the deaths of over 130 Palestinian children in a day, stressing their identities and families must not be forgotten.

A practicing Muslim of Pakistani origin, Khawaja has consistently raised his voice for Palestine. During the 2023 Test series, he attempted a silent protest with messages on his shoes but was stopped by the ICC, later opting to wear a black armband instead.

He also criticized the ICC’s inconsistent stance on personal messaging, calling out double standards in its enforcement.

Khawaja continues to use his platform to call for awareness and action, urging the global community not to normalise the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
