US B-2 stealth bombers reportedly used Indian airspace to conduct strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, according to regional sources cited in multiple reports on Sunday.

The bombers, said to have taken off from Guam in the western Pacific, reportedly flew over the Andaman Sea, entered central Indian airspace, and proceeded toward their targets near Iran via the Arabian Sea.

The flight path allegedly included coordinates from around 15°N, 145°E (Guam), passing 10°N, 95°–100°E (Andaman Sea), crossing 20°N, 75°–80°E (central India), and nearing 25°–30°N, 60°–65°E (close to Iran’s borders).

This development comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East following U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites, which Iran claims were provoked by more than a week of Israeli aggression.

Military analysts suggest that the reported use of Indian airspace by U.S. bombers could signal a shift in India’s strategic positioning in regional geopolitics. “This may represent a turning point in the regional security landscape,” one analyst noted.

So far, neither the Indian government nor U.S. military officials have confirmed these reports.

US Launches Major Strikes on Iran

The strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites were confirmed by U.S. President Donald Trump during a televised address on June 21. He warned Tehran of further devastating attacks unless it agrees to peace terms.

The large-scale operation reportedly involved 14 bunker-buster bombs, over two dozen Tomahawk missiles, and around 125 military aircraft. U.S. military officials named the mission Operation Midnight.

Trump’s decision to join Israel’s military offensive against Iran marks a significant escalation, raising the risk of broader instability across the region.

“A short while ago, we executed precision strikes on three of Iran’s key nuclear facilities,” Trump said in his speech. “Iran’s nuclear infrastructure has been completely destroyed.”

Iran Condemns Strikes as Illegal

In response, Iran’s Foreign Ministry issued a strong condemnation, labeling the attack a blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter. Tehran accused Washington of “brutal military aggression” against its peaceful nuclear program.

Holding the U.S. fully responsible, Iran warned of “dangerous consequences” in retaliation for what it described as a “heinous crime.”
