Intermittent rain continues in the city, while heavy snowfall persists in the upper regions of Dir.
According to tunnel authorities, over 10 inches of snow have accumulated at the Lowari Tunnel. Efforts to clear the snow from Lowari Road are ongoing with the use of heavy machinery.
The district administration has urged drivers on Lowari Road to equip their vehicles with snow chains for safety.
The Meteorological Department predicts that rain and snowfall in the region will last for the next three days.
