Pakistan’s U-18 volleyball team continued their impressive performance in the Asian U-18 Volleyball Championship with a decisive 3-0 victory over Kuwait in their third match of the tournament, held earlier today in Bahrain. The match saw Pakistan dominate with set scores of 25-19, 25-11, and 25-19, maintaining their unbeaten streak.
This victory follows their earlier wins against South Korea (3-2) and India (3-0), positioning Pakistan at the top of Group D. The Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) expressed their optimism, stating, “The team is determined to continue their winning streak and bring further glory to the nation.” The win over India was particularly notable for its display of the team’s skill and determination.

Key players Ajmal Junaid, Abubaker, Muhammad Yahya, and Muhammad Anas were crucial in securing the victory, showcasing exceptional play and teamwork. This success not only boosts team morale but also delights volleyball fans across Pakistan.
The 15th Asian U-18 Volleyball Championship, which started on July 28 and will run until August 4, is hosted by Bahrain. The tournament features 16 teams from across Asia, highlighting the region’s emerging volleyball talent. The event is taking place under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, at the Bahrain Volleyball Association and Bahrain Table Tennis Association halls in Isa bin Rashid Sports City, Riffa.
