UET Lahore Announces Entry Test Dates for 2026

The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has officially announced the schedule for the Combined Entrance Test (CET) 2026, which is required for admission to four-year undergraduate programs across Punjab.

As per the official notification, the computer-based test will take place from March 30 to April 3, 2026. Candidates are expected to appear at their assigned test centers on their specific date and time. While the CET is mandatory for eligibility to engineering, computing, and related programs, participating in the test does not automatically guarantee admission.

The exam will cover Intermediate (FSc) level subjects and consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying four marks. There will be no negative marking and no minimum passing threshold. Subject combinations will vary according to the program and may include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, Computer Science, and Statistics.

Test centers have been set up in Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Narowal, Sargodha, Rahim Yar Khan, Taxila, and Gujrat. Candidates must select their preferred center during online registration, which cannot be changed later.

The application deadline along with the Rs. 3,000 fee is March 22, 2026. Admit cards will be available for printing on the evening of March 24, while results are expected on April 17, 2026.

Candidates must bring a valid original ID to the test center, including CNIC, Juvenile CNIC, original Matric/Intermediate certificates, passport, or NADRA-issued Form-B with a photograph. Late arrivals will not be allowed to take the exam.
