ABU DHABI – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has introduced a new Golden Visa program targeting teachers and school leaders in private schools, aiming to enhance the education sector. The initiative, announced by the Ras Al Khaimah Department of Knowledge, is designed to offer long-term residency to qualified professionals, including principals, vice-principals, and teachers currently employed in private schools across the emirate.

To qualify for the Golden Visa, applicants must meet several requirements: at least three years of residency and employment in Ras Al Khaimah, hold a relevant advanced degree, and demonstrate a positive impact on the school’s performance. Applicants are required to submit an official appointment letter, proof of qualifications, and evidence of contributions to improving school outcomes.
The application process has been streamlined by RAK DOK, with no fees for the eligibility review. Additionally, the Golden Visa allows eligible educators to sponsor their immediate family members, including spouses, children, and parents, for long-term residency in the UAE.
This program is open to educators of all nationalities and is part of Ras Al Khaimah’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its educational system and attract world-class talent to the region.
