The Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility), in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Police, has announced temporary truck and heavy vehicle entry restrictions for Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Zayed City on December 2 and 3, 2024. These measures aim to ensure smooth traffic flow and enhance safety during the UAE’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad celebrations.

In addition, the authorities have revised movement restrictions for heavy vehicles on Fridays. Starting December 6, 2024, trucks will be prohibited from operating during peak hours, specifically between 11 AM and 1 PM. Restrictions for weekday peak periods will remain unchanged.
These initiatives are part of ongoing efforts to optimize traffic management and improve road safety in the region.
