The UAE has expressed strong interest in partnering with Pakistan in mining, minerals, and agriculture, as conveyed by UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Rahim Yar Khan on Sunday.
The leaders discussed enhancing economic, political, and cultural ties, covering topics like regional stability, climate change, and global collaboration. Sheikh Mohammed praised Pakistan’s economic stabilization under Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership and emphasized strengthening bilateral relations, focusing on shared prosperity and people-to-people connections.

Prime Minister Sharif lauded the UAE’s visionary leadership and its role as a key development and investment partner for Pakistan. He highlighted Pakistan’s readiness to expand cooperation in renewable energy, technology, trade, infrastructure, and skill development. He also thanked the UAE for its consistent support, especially in humanitarian aid.
The meeting concluded with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to regional peace, progress, and closer collaboration in priority sectors to ensure mutual growth and prosperity.
