U.S. Denies Entry to Senior Pakistani Diplomat

The United States has barred a senior Pakistani diplomat from entering the country, diplomatic sources revealed on Monday.

According to sources, Pakistani Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ahsan Wagan was denied entry by U.S. immigration officials upon his arrival at Los Angeles International Airport during a private visit.

Allegations of Corruption Linked to Entry Ban

The decision to refuse entry is reportedly tied to allegations of administrative corruption that surfaced during Wagan’s previous posting in the U.S.. Based on these complaints, American authorities decided not to allow the diplomat into the country, sources claimed.

Pakistan Yet to Respond

Ahsan Wagan is currently serving as Pakistan’s ambassador to Turkmenistan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has yet to issue an official statement on the matter. However, diplomatic circles suggest that the incident is under investigation.
