Two Pakistanis Arrested for Drugs Selling in Madina

The Saudi Anti-Narcotics Department has launched operations in Makkah and Madina, resulting in several arrests.

In Madina, security forces detained three suspects, including two Pakistani nationals, and seized one kilogram of crystal meth during the raid. In Makkah, two Ethiopian nationals were arrested after authorities recovered narcotic pills from them.

Officials confirmed that all detainees have been referred to the Public Prosecution for legal action.

Separately, Pakistan’s Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) recently intercepted a drug smuggling attempt to Saudi Arabia at Sialkot International Airport. A passenger was caught swallowing 40 capsules containing 230 grams of cocaine. Based on his information, another suspect was later arrested from the airport parking lot.

ANF condemned the misuse of Umrah travel for drug trafficking and reiterated its zero-tolerance policy, adding that operations against smuggling networks are being intensified through technology and intelligence-sharing.
