Following the tragic incident on Faisalabad’s Novelty bridge, government officials responded strongly, yet such incidents persist. On Saturday, two more individuals sustained injuries from kite strings.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz took note of the incident and requested a report from the Inspector General of Punjab Police. Expressing concern over the recurring instances of kite-flying-related injuries despite strict orders to curb such activities, Maryam emphasized the need for responsible action from the public.
Authorities have appealed to the public to assist law enforcement agencies in combating this menace.
