Police reported that two labourers died in Hanjarwal on Saturday after eating contaminated food.
The victims, Arshad and Sajjad, had bought dahi bhallay from a roadside cart. Shortly after eating, they collapsed and were taken to a hospital, where doctors declared them dead on arrival.
Their bodies were shifted to the morgue for postmortem as part of the inquiry. However, the families later requested police not to file a case.
