Islamabad police have arrested two suspects linked to the murder of well-known economic and defense analyst Faheem Sardar, officials revealed at a press conference on Tuesday.
Inspector General Islamabad Police, alongside State Minister for Interior Talal Chaudhry, said the suspects were caught from Gujranwala and Sargodha. The IGP stated the accused were repeat offenders who targeted low-activity homes and attacked Sardar with an iron rod during a robbery attempt when he resisted.

The case was marked a high priority and solved within six days. Talal Chaudhry praised the police for their swift action, also highlighting their success in other high-profile investigations like the Sana Yousuf case, contributing to a drop in crime across Islamabad.
Faheem Sardar, a member of a state think tank, was found seriously injured at his home and later died while being taken to the hospital, sparking public outrage and demands for justice.
