Pakistan’s military reported downing 12 Indian drones in recent weeks, though one soldier was killed and four injured during the incidents, said DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif on Thursday.
He stated that all intercepted drones were Israeli-made Heron UAVs, which violated Pakistani airspace across several regions including Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, and near Karachi. “These repeated intrusions are blatant breaches of sovereignty,” Gen Sharif asserted, adding that Pakistan’s forces remain vigilant and capable of defending national airspace.
