The visit aims to bolster ties between the nations and explore new avenues for cooperation.

During his visit to Pakistan, President Erdogan is expected to discuss various aspects of bilateral relations and collaborate on key projects that would enhance strategic cooperation. One of the major topics on the agenda will be Gaza, alongside broader regional and global issues. Both countries have shown concern for the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and the visit is expected to underscore joint efforts in addressing these pressing matters.

President Erdogan’s visit to Pakistan follows a brief meeting with former Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari in Istanbul during a stopover en route to Portugal. The two leaders held discussions at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport, with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan welcoming Zardari upon his arrival. Their meeting reaffirmed the strong ties between the two nations, paving the way for the upcoming visit.

Erdogan’s visit to Pakistan is anticipated to deepen the longstanding partnership between the two nations, with hopes for strengthened economic, strategic, and humanitarian cooperation.
