TTP member killed by Punjab CTD; 11 others detained

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]During intelligence-based operations (IBOs) across Punjab, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed on Saturday to have killed a suspected terrorist purportedly affiliated with the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in an encounter and detained 11 additional TTP members from various towns.

In order to combat the threat of terrorism, the Punjab CTD reportedly conducted 26 IBOs in various areas throughout the province and questioned 26 people. Irfan Ullah, a suspected TTP terrorist, was slain during these IBOs, and 11 further members of the prohibited organisations were detained.
