TTAP Invites PPP to Discuss Parliamentary and Constitutional Issues

The Tehreek-e-Tahafuz Ayeen-e-Pakistan (TTAP) has announced its plans to establish contact with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) ahead of its upcoming national conference. The move highlights TTAP’s intent to involve major political parties in structured dialogue.

According to sources, TTAP will formally invite the PPP to attend the two-day national conference, scheduled to take place in Islamabad on December 20 and 21. The party’s participation will be discussed in an internal TTAP meeting to finalize engagement strategies.

Besides the PPP, other political groups such as Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), and several opposition parties will also receive invitations. TTAP aims to bring key political stakeholders together to foster discussions on national issues.

The conference will focus on creating a platform for national political dialogue, enabling parties to share recommendations on parliamentary and constitutional matters. Experts believe this initiative could enhance collaboration among political parties and strengthen democratic processes in Pakistan.

TTAP officials emphasized that the conference is not limited to discussions but will also consider serious recommendations that may guide legislative and constitutional reforms. Participation of parties like PPP is seen as crucial to achieving broad-based consensus.

The engagement with the PPP and other opposition parties underscores TTAP’s commitment to promoting political consultation and dialogue.
