RIYADH – U.S. President Donald Trump has arrived in Saudi Arabia for his first official visit, marking a significant step in strengthening diplomatic relations between Washington and Riyadh.
Upon landing in the Saudi capital aboard Air Force One, Trump’s plane was escorted by F-15 fighter jets in a ceremonial show of honor. The military escort underscored the high-level importance attached to his visit.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman personally received President Trump at the Royal Terminal. The two participated in a traditional Saudi coffee ceremony, reflecting the Kingdom’s hospitality, before Trump proceeded to his accommodation. Streets in key areas were decorated with Saudi and American flags, setting a grand tone for the visit.
Trump’s visit is part of a broader Middle East tour, with upcoming stops in the UAE and Qatar. His agenda in Saudi Arabia includes meetings with top officials, a CEO luncheon, signing agreements, and addressing the U.S.-Saudi Investment Forum. He will also visit historic sites and end the day with a state dinner hosted by the Crown Prince. Discussions are expected to center on Gaza and the Palestinian issue.
