Former US President Donald Trump has downplayed media reports suggesting he approved a military strike on Iran, calling the claims baseless.
Posting on Truth Social, Trump criticized The Wall Street Journal, saying, “They have no idea what I’m thinking about Iran.”

The report alleged Trump had given preliminary approval for a strike but paused, hoping Iran would halt its nuclear activities.
Trump, however, said no final decision had been made, adding, “We’ll see how things go.”
Amid rising speculation, Trump clarified that while discussions were ongoing, no action had been authorized yet.
