US President Donald Trump confirmed on Monday that the White House will continue using Starlink internet services, despite recent tensions with Elon Musk. The announcement came after Musk criticized a key Republican tax and spending bill, straining their previously close relationship.
Trump acknowledged the possibility of removing his Tesla vehicle from the White House grounds but made it clear that Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite broadband service, remains indispensable. “It’s a good service,” he told reporters, signaling the importance of the technology for secure, high-speed internet.

The public feud began last week when Musk labeled the Republican legislation a “disgusting abomination,” prompting backlash and deleted social media posts. Despite this, both sides seem open to reconciliation, with Musk responding to Trump’s comments with a heart emoji on his platform X.
Starlink continues to be a vital service for multiple US government agencies, and its ongoing use at the White House underscores that practical needs may take precedence over political disagreements.
