PCB Unveils Tri-Series with Pakistan, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially confirmed a tri-series featuring Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka, set to take place from November 17 to 29.

According to the schedule, the first two matches will be played in Rawalpindi, while the remaining fixtures, including the final on November 29, will be hosted at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. Each team will play the other twice in the six-match group stage, with the top two sides advancing to the final, making a total of seven matches.

This development comes shortly after PCB announced the South Africa tour of Pakistan for October–November. The tour will mark the return of international cricket to Faisalabad after 17 years, featuring two Tests, three T20Is, and three ODIs.

The new ICC World Test Championship 2025–27 cycle for Pakistan will also begin with the opening Test against South Africa on October 12 at Gaddafi Stadium, followed by the second Test in Rawalpindi. The tour will conclude with white-ball matches in Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Faisalabad.
