Travis Scott knows how to turn any occasion into a major event, and the 10th anniversary of his influential 2014 mixtape Days Before Rodeo was no exception.

Last week, Scott finally added the mixtape to streaming platforms, thrilling fans and rap enthusiasts who view the project as a cornerstone of his early career. Days Before Rodeo, often celebrated as Scott’s best work, cemented his status as a rising star and set the stage for his future successes.

To mark the “official release” of the mixtape on digital platforms, Scott hosted a special one-night-only concert in Atlanta, a city deeply connected to the project’s influence. The mixtape features guest appearances from Atlanta’s own T.I., Young Thug, Migos (RIP Takeoff), PeeWee LongWay, Rich Homie Quan, and production from local legends like Metro Boomin and FKI 1st.

In addition to the concert, Scott delighted fans with five bonus tracks from that era—previously leaked songs that superfans had long cherished but never had in high-quality, legal format.

Scott also released a limited-edition merch bundle featuring designs reminiscent of the Days Before Rodeo era.

Continuing the anniversary celebrations, Scott dropped a new music video for “Drugs You Should Try It,” a track many consider his best. The moody, down-tempo song, produced by FKI 1st, blends tender emotion with Scott’s signature distorted vocals, maintaining its unique sound even a decade later.

The video complements the song’s introspective mood with black-and-white visuals, a recreation of the mixtape’s cover art, and atmospheric scenes featuring a wolf and femme fatale models. The cinematic feel of the video evokes a Blade-like vibe.

For Travis Scott fans, the Days Before Rodeo video release is a testament to the rapper’s strong connection with his audience and his knack for creating memorable moments. With speculation that Scott might take his Atlanta show on the road, it seems the anniversary celebrations could be just beginning.
