Pakistani TikToker and model Areeka Haq has claimed that some TikTok users deliberately leak their own explicit videos to gain fame and go viral.
In a recent interview, Areeka expressed concern over this growing trend, calling it both sensitive and troubling. She alleged that certain individuals intentionally share objectionable content to attract media attention and boost their popularity.

She explained that while couple videos were once a strategy for fame, some creators now resort to extreme tactics when those trends fade. Although she clarified that this isn’t a widespread practice, she believes a few cases clearly suggest intentional leaks.
Areeka also shared that she initially thought most girls in such cases were victims, but now suspects that some may be involved willingly—though she emphasized that many are genuinely wronged.
She added that she has never collaborated with male TikTokers, which helped her avoid pressure for views or viral fame. Areeka described herself as cautious and protective of her public image.
Notably, in recent months, explicit videos allegedly involving TikTokers like Minahil Malik, Sajal Malik, Samia Hijab, Amsha Rehman, and Aliza Sahar have surfaced online.
