Three Sheesha Cafes Sealed in Islamabad

The district administration has sealed three sheesha cafes operating indoors at the Civic Center in Bahria Town, Sohan, as part of an ongoing drive against illegal indoor sheesha activities in Islamabad.

The operation was led by Assistant Commissioner Nilore, Fahad Shabbir Cheema, who, along with his team, inspected several eateries to ensure compliance with government regulations. During the inspection, officials discovered that three sheesha cafes were offering indoor sheesha services in violation of existing laws.

According to authorities, indoor sheesha facilities in enclosed spaces are strictly banned, and any establishment found breaching these regulations faces immediate action. As a result, the three non-compliant sheesha cafes were sealed on the spot.

Officials stated that the crackdown aims to enforce government directives and discourage violations of officially notified rules. The district administration emphasized that such operations are necessary to protect public health and maintain law and order in the federal capital.

Cafe owners were issued a clear warning to adhere to the law, with authorities cautioning that repeated violations could result in harsher measures, including permanent closure of their businesses. The administration stressed that there would be no tolerance for businesses that continue to ignore regulations.

Residents of the area welcomed the action and called on authorities to ensure consistent monitoring so that sealed sheesha cafes do not resume operations illegally. Officials assured the public that this operation is part of a wider campaign against unlawful indoor sheesha services.
