Hunters Caught Poaching Rare Sulaiman Markhor in Balochistan
Three individuals were apprehended for illegally hunting the rare and protected Sulaiman Markhor in the Bostan area of Pishin district, Balochistan.
Acting on a tip-off, the Levies force swiftly arrested the hunters and seized the hunted Markhor, along with weapons and a vehicle used in the crime. The Sulaiman Markhor, a national treasure and an endangered species, fell victim to this illegal activity in the mountainous region of Pishin.

Following their arrest, the Balochistan Forest and Wildlife Department registered a case against the suspects under the Balochistan Wildlife Act 2014. The accused were presented before Judicial Magistrate-I, who placed them in Levies custody on a three-day judicial remand for further investigation.
