Three Brothers Fatally Shot Inside Faisalabad Police Station

Three brothers were killed inside the lockup of Saddar police station in Faisalabad by members of a rival group. Reports indicate that the armed assailants entered the police station and opened fire on the detainees, killing the three siblings and injuring their cousin.

The detained victims were reportedly arrested in connection with a murder case involving three individuals. The incident has raised serious concerns about the security measures at the police station.

Faisalabad City Police Officer (CPO) Kamran Adil has taken notice of the attack and directed action against those responsible for the security breach. Police have arrested four suspects involved in the shooting and recovered weapons from them, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend other accomplices.

Punjab IG Dr. Usman Anwar has also taken notice of the incident and formed an inquiry committee led by DIG Special Branch Faisal Ali Raja. The committee, which includes AIG Operations Punjab Zahid Nawaz Marwat and AIG Complaints Ihsan Ullah Chauhan, is tasked with investigating the attack and identifying any lapses in security at the Saddar police station.
