The Senate of Pakistan has embarked on a significant modernization effort with the introduction of an E-Filing system, marking a step toward becoming a paperless institution.
Currently, the E-Filing system is in a pilot phase, being tested in the Transport, Admin, Printing, and Publication branches of the Senate Secretariat. Following the successful completion of this phase, the system will be rolled out to other branches within the Secretariat.

Senate Secretary Syed Hasnain Haider praised the IT team’s efforts in reaching this milestone and emphasized the need to complete the digitalization process promptly. This initiative aims to streamline Senate operations, enhance efficiency, and mitigate the environmental impact associated with traditional paper-based processes. The implementation of E-Filing represents a critical advancement towards a more modern and transparent legislative environment.
The launch event was attended by senior officers of the Senate Secretariat, underscoring the importance of this transition to a digital framework.
