The Prime Minister arrives in Baku for a two-day official visit.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]On the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Azerbaijan on Wednesday for a two-day official visit.

The prime minister was greeted warmly upon his arrival by Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov, Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Pakistan Khazar Farhadov, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee, according to a press release from the PM Office Media Wing.

It is Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s first visit to Azerbaijan since taking office.

The prime minister will lay a wreath at the mausoleum of Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s national leader, on Thursday (tomorrow). He will also go to the Martyrs’ Monument.

The prime minister will meet with President Ilham Aliyev, and both leaders will speak to the media later
