During a discussion with leaders of the Pakistani community at the Pakistan Embassy in Washington DC, the PML-N stalwart and senator expressed concerns that unpredictability and policy disruptions could have detrimental effects on the economy.

He also acknowledged the importance of learning from past mistakes and avoiding their repetition. Senator Irfan Siddique mentioned that under PML-N leadership, the country witnessed progress with a growth rate exceeding 6% and successfully tackled terrorism.
However, certain incidents in 2017 caused significant setbacks to the journey of progress and prosperity.
