Tensions between Thailand and Cambodia intensified sharply today after the Thai military carried out air strikes along a long-disputed border region. Officials in Bangkok claimed the action came after repeated Cambodian incursions, calling the situation a direct threat to national security and border stability. The strikes were launched early morning, creating panic across nearby villages already familiar with past clashes between the two nations.
Cambodia immediately denounced the strikes as an unjustified and aggressive act, stating that its troops never crossed into Thai territory.
