Terrorists attack Sharea Faisal's police station in Karachi.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]On Friday night, gunmen stormed into a police station on Karachi’s main Sharea Faisal motorway, setting off deafening gunshots and explosions that reverberated across the neighbourhood. Early accounts claimed that as soon as the terrorists stormed inside the office, they began firing randomly.

At least six terrorists, according to DIG South Irfan Baloch, were able to gain access to the Karachi Police Chief’s office through a back door. “A sizable police and ranger contingent has arrived. We’re attempting to capture terrorists, whether they’re alive or not,” he continued.

The DIG added that there are terrorists on the first and second levels of the building and that senior police personnel are also there. Eight to ten terrorists, according to a statement from the Rangers, stormed the office.

According to a statement from Sindh IGP Ghulam Nabi Memon, at least two terrorists have died and several more have been hurt. He continued, “We’re attempting to finish the procedure as quickly as we can.  According to rescue officials, at least four injured people, including two Rangers troops, one police officer, and one Edhi rescue official, have been transported to Jinnah Hospital.

According to police officials, after the incident, police officers promptly retaliated, and officers from other police stations and police commandos were also called in to handle the problem. Additional IG Javed Alam Odhu has verified the attack on the police station and stated that security officers are battling the terrorists on the scene, along with a sizable number of Rangers.

The police station’s electricity has been turned off as SSU commandos and Rangers personnel have arrived. Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, was alerted to the attack and gave district inspector generals (DIGs) the order to dispatch the appropriate police officers from their respective zones to the location.

He instructed the authorities to detain the offenders without delay in a statement. “The assault on the office of the Karachi Police Chief is in no way acceptable.
