MIANWALI – In a significant operation, at least 10 terrorists were killed by a joint team comprising the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), local police, and elite forces in Mianwali.
The operation was initiated after receiving intelligence about the presence of 10 to 15 terrorists in the Makhroal area. A heavy contingent of law enforcement, led by the District Police Officer (DPO) of Mianwali, conducted the operation.

During the ensuing gunfight, police engaged the terrorists, resulting in the deaths of 10 individuals identified as militants. Fortunately, all police and elite personnel involved in the operation remained unharmed.
Punjab Inspector General (IG) praised the DPO Mianwali and his team for their successful efforts, reiterating that Punjab police are on high alert to counter any threats posed by terrorists.
