A tragic accident occurred at the popular Harno tourist destination in Abbottabad, resulting in the death of a teenage girl who fell from a swing. Police identified the victim as a 17–18-year-old matric student from Nawan Shehar. According to officials, the girl suffered critical injuries when she fell from the swing at the recreational area and could not survive. After the postmortem examination was completed, her body was handed over to her brother.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances behind the incident, including who the girl was accompanied by and how the fall took place.
Police are also examining whether proper safety measures were in place at the tourist attraction. In response to the incident, a case has been registered against the park’s owner and manager under laws related to manslaughter. The investigation aims to hold those responsible accountable for any negligence that may have led to the fatal accident.
