A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight, PK-503, bound for Gwadar experienced a technical fault in its engine shortly after takeoff on Monday, leading the pilot to return to Karachi.
A PIA spokesperson confirmed that the flight, which departed from Jinnah International Airport at 8:13 a.m., made a safe landing 43 minutes later. The issue was detected mid-flight, prompting the pilot to promptly notify air traffic control and perform a precautionary landing.

The spokesperson assured that the aircraft is currently being inspected at Karachi Airport, emphasizing that passenger safety remains the airline’s top priority.
The engineering team is working to resolve the issue, and the flight will continue its journey to Gwadar once clearance is received.
