Tea price hiked by Rs 200 per kg.

According to information, the price of loose black tea increased by Rs200 to Rs1,800 per kg because importers were having trouble unloading their containers.

The importers stated in a statement that approximately 250 containers that arrived between late December 2022 and early January were still at the port and that an another 250 containers were on their way to Karachi.

The importers issued a crisis alert, stating that if stuck-up consignments were not released, the price of tea may reach Rs2,500 per kg during Ramadan.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
