Soaring Bike Prices in Pakistan: Suzuki and Yamaha Face Sales Challenges

ISLAMABAD — The motorcycle market in Pakistan is experiencing a significant surge in prices, especially within the premium bike segment. With prices for the cheapest models exceeding Rs3.5 lakh, companies like Suzuki and Yamaha are encountering decreased sales figures.

In the current landscape, Honda continues to dominate the entry-level bike segment, while Suzuki remains competitive with its range of models designed to cater to various riding preferences. Notably, Suzuki’s GD 110s and GS-150 are popular for their smooth rides and reliable performance, but they come with a hefty price tag. As of September 2024, the Suzuki GD 110s is priced at Rs352,000, and the Suzuki GS-150 is available for Rs382,000.

  • 50% Down Payment and 18 Monthly Installments:
  • Down Payment: Rs176,000
  • Monthly Installment: Rs9,800
  • Last Month Installment: Rs9,400

GS 150 Installment Plan

  • Zero Mark-Up @ 25% Advance Payment & 24 Monthly Installments:
  • Down Payment: Rs95,500
  • Monthly Installment (Till 23rd Month): Rs11,940
  • 24th Month Installment: Rs11,940
  • Zero Mark-Up @ 50% Advance Payment & 18 Monthly Installments:
  • Down Payment: Rs191,000
  • Monthly Installment (Till 17th Month): Rs10,700
  • 18th Month Installment: Rs9,100
