A school shooting in Graz, a city in southern Austria, has resulted in at least ten deaths, including the suspected gunman, according to the Austrian news agency APA.
The incident took place on Tuesday, with Graz Mayor Elke Kahr calling it a “tragedy.” Preliminary reports suggest at least ten fatalities and several injuries, with the wounded quickly taken to local hospitals.

Witnesses reported hearing 30 to 40 gunshots. Earlier, Kronen Zeitung stated that eight people had been confirmed dead and ten others were critically injured.
While police have not provided an official casualty count, they confirmed that multiple people were killed.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims or clarified how many students were among the dead.
Emergency services responded promptly, and ambulances were seen stationed outside the school.
The shooter’s motive remains unknown, and investigations are still underway.
