[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Lahore Shariq Jamal was found dead at his residence in DHA on Saturday, as per reports. Authorities have initiated a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his untimely demise.
According to initial reports, no family members were present at his home when he passed away. Before his death, he had sent his two house servants away. Upon their return, the servants discovered him deceased in his bedroom and promptly notified the police.

The police arrived and transported his body to a nearby hospital, where doctors confirmed his passing. It appears that he had already passed away before arriving at the medical facility. To gather further information about the incident, his body was transferred to the morgue for a postmortem examination.
